It's not your fault. And it's OK to ask for help.
Namaste. I'm Veena Poojar — a mental health counsellor and narcissistic abuse recovery professional. I am the voice of victims and a ray of hope to those who feel unheard. Let's begin your healing journey together.

Namaste everyone. I am Veena Poojar, a narcissistic abuse recovery professional and the 'voice of victims' & 'a ray of hope' to those who are traumatized.
It was not easy for me to come out of an abusive relationship — but I helped myself without giving up. That is how this journey of counselling and empowering victims of abuse began, more than three years ago. They called me mad, they called me names — but that didn't stop me. Instead, it turned my profession from an engineer into a counsellor.
Today, through my foundation "Happy Healing Happy Feeling", I empower the emotional wellbeing of people. I am on a mission to help millions who still hold on to the hope that one day they will receive the light they deserve. I am their light — and I want to tell them they can become a light too.
With lots of love and gratitude. Namaste. 🙏.jpeg)

Confidential counselling from HSR Layout, Bangalore, for anyone rebuilding after a controlling relationship, family or workplace.
Narcissistic abuse rarely announces itself. It arrives as a comment that leaves you smaller than you were, a rule that changes the moment you learn it, an apology that somehow becomes your fault. Because there is no single moment you can point to, most people who walk into my counselling room in Bangalore begin the same way: "I am not sure anything really happened to me." Something did. Recovery starts with giving it a name.
Narcissistic abuse recovery is not about diagnosing the other person. It is about restoring what the relationship quietly took from you: your ability to trust your own judgement, your sense of what is reasonable to expect, your right to take up space. We work at whatever pace feels safe. Nobody is rushed into reliving anything they are not ready to revisit.
A first session is simply a conversation. You describe what daily life feels like right now, and we map the patterns together, what triggers the anxiety, where the self-doubt was learned, which relationships restore you and which ones drain you. From there we build practical ground: boundaries you can actually hold, language for difficult conversations, and steadier footing for the days the guilt returns.
Sessions are held in person at HSR Layout, Bangalore, and online for clients elsewhere in Karnataka and across India. Many people begin online because it feels less exposing, then move to in-person as trust grows. Both work. What matters far more than the format is that you have one room where you are believed without having to prove anything first.
As a counsellor trained at NIMHANS and recognised as Karnataka's Best Behavioural Counselling Professional in 2025, I bring clinical grounding to this work. I also bring lived experience. I came through narcissistic abuse myself before I ever counselled anyone through it, which is why this practice exists at all.
If you recognise yourself in any of this, that recognition is already the hardest part. It is OK to ask for help, and it costs nothing to start the conversation.
Abuse that leaves no visible mark is the hardest to trust yourself about. These are the patterns clients in Bangalore most often describe.
Conversations you clearly remember are denied, reframed or laughed off, until you start recording things privately just to feel sane.
You say sorry before you have worked out whether anything was your doing, because it ends the tension faster than being right.
Warmth arrives generously, then withdraws without explanation, and you spend the gap auditing yourself for the cause.
Friendships faded one by one, each for a reasonable-sounding reason, and you cannot recall choosing any of it.
Choosing what to order or what to wear brings real dread, because for years every choice was open to correction.
Disturbed sleep, a tight chest, stomach trouble and exhaustion that rest does not touch. Sustained stress registers physically.
The clinic sits on Harlur Road in HSR Extension Layout, within easy reach of most of south and east Bangalore. Online sessions are available anywhere in Karnataka and across India.
It is a guided healing process that helps you recognise manipulation and emotional abuse, understand how it affected you, and rebuild your self-worth, boundaries and peace of mind — at a pace that feels safe for you.
